Hey so I have my no-color concept art done for all but the Single-Sided couch I wanted to do something different than the two-sided couch but it all looked too average (not scifi) so considering just chopping off the outer edge and the sides of the double sided couch. Book is here but if it seems a bit faint its because im considering replacing the idea with a tablet since the book seem a bit out of place in the scifi environment, so i didn't bother relining it before i scanned it in.
Lastly I'm not the best drawer so I just did a bunch of perspectives and hopefully you guys can see what I mean.
Here's my concept arts, I'll fix up the measurements when we've put all the artworks together as one doc. I've tried to keep everything in a modern/sci-fi style - like, not too much of either style, so it's more of a blended style. With the Amenities Sign, I was thinking we could re-use the PokeBall asset - this'd cut down our work time, since it's a piece of an asset pre-done. And the books, obviously, would populate the shelves.
Anyway, here's the artworks I've done (open them in a new tab to see them fully, dumb forum):

Also on my google drive.
I forgot a scale so each square is 50x50 cm.

What I managed to do this week:
Spoiler:
In the next few days, I'm gonna redo this plant's leaves with some simple two-sided planes since the current leaves are making the poly count way too high.
And beginnings of blocking for the room:
Spoiler:
Seems like most of the stuff on the map is going to be actual props, so in class we can go more in-depth about it and sort out what actually needs to get done.

Progress update for the week; Focused on making progress on my assigned models. --- TV is basically done, though I think I might need to polish up its maps and associated files a little bit. And when it's imported into UE we'll have to learn how to apply the video to the blue screen - the screen is a separate piece of geometry from the TV, since I wasn't sure if applying a video texture will overwrite the whole object's textures or not.
Spoiler:
--- Clock is done with maps and animation, though I'm not sure it fits our theme properly yet. If you guys have ideas for improvements let me know and I'll redo this when the other models are done (prioritization, woo!).
Spoiler:
--- Computer is getting there. It's kinda bulkier than I thought it would be so I might change this later too, and the blue screen is the same as the TV's blue screen. I'll have this finished by the next update.
Spoiler:
--- That's it for this week from me. See you guys on Monday morning!

Progress for this week, made half of my props as low poly and attempted to make them more interesting on two of them:
Also made a super basic mockup of a pokeball centerpiece. The red on the stand would probably be some sort of felt/carpet with bottom pokeballs being normal - mid (orange) being ultra balls and top tier being master balls. (occurs to me that there r greatballs so might make another level if people want to go ahead with this. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3YwGoPZwgCxMThBLUhzRFBLTlU

Finished my 9 props, including the animated ones. Team Rocket can download them from our lil Facebook chat. The TV Screen and Computer Screen will need to be animated inside UE4. I've made the screen components of the props a separate model inside their parent-props since I'm not sure how exactly UE4 plays videos on objects.
Screenshots of models 17-25: 17. Bookshelves - 42 polys
Spoiler:
18. Amenities Sign - 156 polys
Spoiler:
19. Potted Plant - 843 polys
Spoiler:
20. Potted Plant Alternate - 807 polys
Spoiler:
21. TV Screen - 505 polys - Animation needs to be done in UE4
Spoiler:
22. Ceiling Fan - 429 polys - Animated
Spoiler:
23. Clock - 360 polys - Animated
Spoiler:
24. Computer Screen - 833 polys - Animation needs to be done in UE4
Spoiler:
25. Desk Fan - 523 polys - Animated

Another Progress Update - Coming up to the wire i've completed 6 of my 8 all except for texturing.
This means UV maps completed for the previously mentioned models (the double couch, the table and the pokeball) as well as these next three models.
Lastly for the counter I completed the more detailed divider and debated putting in more model detail on the main part of it but figured that it should be fine doing it through texturing: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3YwGoPZwgCxcWtFZFZyaGVHZHM
